The Neptune City has launched an anti-fraud control service on road accidents, a tool that will analyze and highlight possible fraud attempts by accident simulation. Management is entrusted to the company XSERVIZI srl, which deals with risk analysis for claims insurance: in practice, the company will analyze the caseload of the incidents that occurred in Neptune and identify, through specialized algorithms and information activities, fraudulent behavior. “In simple words – says the Mayor Alessio Chiavetta – the service will allow us to identify who is trying to make a fraud against the community by simulating an accident and consequent damage to his vehicle. This will allow the City Council to reduce the costs of damages and, from a wider and longer perspective, also reduce the costs of insurance policies due to less exposure to the risk of such fraud; in conclusion, economic resources will be put at the disposal of the community that could end up in the pockets of cheaters and dishonest. ”
